Alberta is a province of western Canada with 4,067,175 inhabitants. The majority of its population residing in Calgary, a diverse and prosperous city of 1,278,962 in its metropolitan area and an average age of 36 years. Calgary lies at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and is flanked by fresh air, open spaces, parks, trails, mountains and rivers. Most people are drawn to Calgary in view of having the lowest Canadian tax rate. The climate in Alberta is classified as continental humid with hot summers and cold winters. However, Calgary is one of the sunniest cities in Canada.

Alberta’s population comes from many different cultures and backgrounds, but works in harmony to build a strong economy where everyone is welcome. Alberta has excellent health and education systems and a high quality of life. The economy in Alberta is strong and stable with special emphasis on industries such as oil and gas.
